About Star Fighters: Rapid Fire combines the excitement of real-time dice rolling with tactical starship combat. Each player hops into the cockpit of their own starfighter and duels it out in a dog fight to prove who is the superior pilot. The game plays in multiple modes 1 vs 1, 3 player free-for-all, 2 vs 2, or a solo mode where a single starfighter attacks an orbital space station. In the real-time phase all players roll and re-roll their command dice simultaneously, and assign them to the various functions of their starfighter. When a player has fully charged systems and is ready to act they may end the real-time phase by hitting the big red button and yelling, “Fire!” This means all players must cease rolling and allocating dice and move to the tactical phase. 2011 Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry Opens 8/31!


Sears is opening it’s annual 2011 Heroes at Home Wish Registry EARLY!
On Wednesday, August 31st!  Between the hours of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Central Time, all active duty military and their families will get to register at this link or  http://www.sears.com/heroesathome.

Are you ready!?  Last year, our family was fortunate to receive this wonderful gift.  I hope that many of my readers will get to, also!  Not sure what this program is?  Sears opens up it’s registry to applicants each year to apply to receive Sears gift cards (good for Sears, Kmart, Lands End – and at their online sites as well).  The denomination is not certain until you receive you’r email with the actual eCard.  Cards are funded by awesome people who donate to the Heroes at Home program!

For those who wish to make donations, you may do so from Sept. 4 through Nov. 19, 2011.  Sears will invite Americans to donate to the Heroes at Home Wish Registry, which provides military families with Sears gift cards for the holidays.
