I'm a Coast Guard wife and mostly SAHM currently in Maine until our next move in June. I have two active boys Austin 5 and Dylan 3. My military venture started back at home in Michigan, followed by two years at the Bangor Naval Station in WA State and now in Maine. I'm anxiously waiting to hear in January of our next assignment. Eight more years to go to fulfill the 20!

As you know, being an employed military spouse is not easy with moves and changes with duty hours. I had been itching to take my bachelor degree off the shelf yet stay at home with our young boys these last couple years. Working independently as a saleswoman, and setting my own hours, seemed to be a nice fit for now. Ironically, after considering those ideas I was invited to a SILPADA party.
